ALBANY, N.Y. -- Bishop Howard Hubbard ordained two priests in Albany on Saturday.

Daniel James Quinn of Johnstown, and J. Michael Taylor of Macon, Georgia are the newest priests in the diocese.

Quinn attended St. Mary's seminary in Baltimore and said music played a major role in his religious upbringing. Meanwhile, Taylor converted to Catholicism as a college freshman at the University of Georgia.

More than 750 people attended the ceremony which took place at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Albany, which is the oldest cathedral in the state and the third oldest in the country.

Quinn and Taylor will each serve in one of the 125 parishes in the diocese.
