"American Pie" singer Don McLean to perform at SaratogaArtsFest
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- This year's SaratogaArtsFest will feature singer-songwriter Don McLean, whose 1971 hit “American Pie” has become a pop classic.
McLean will be performing at Skidmore tonight at 8 p.m.
McLean has some ties to Saratoga Springs as well. He was a resident singer at Caffè Lena back in 1968.
Organizers said the 600-seat venue has been sold out for two weeks.
