A fundraising effort in memory of a local man in Schoharie County takes on an extended role this year. The Rolphie Run is a motorcycle rally in Schoharie County which raises money to help economically challenged children in the area. It's in honor of Rolph Karker, who died in May 2005 in a motorcycle accident. This year, the Rolphie Run is helping raise money for those impacted by tropical storm Irene.
