Three suspected gang members indicted in connection with shooting

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- Three suspected members of the Latin Kings street gang have been indicted in connection with a shooting back in March at the Rip Van Winkle Apartments in Poughkeepsie.

Police say two people were hurt during the shooting, but both have since recovered.

On Thursday, John Rizzo, Paul Sellers and Timothy Ramirez were all indicted in Dutchess County Court. Rizzo and Ramirez were both charged with conspiracy, attempted murder and assault. Sellers was indicted on attempted murder, assault, gang assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

All three are being held at Dutchess County Jail. Police had also previously arrested six additional people in connection with the shooting.
