SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- The Saratoga County District Attorney's Office is issuing a plea to the public more than a year after the drowning death of a Westchester County teen.
District Attorney James Murphy is once again offering immunity for anyone who comes forward with information in the investigation into the death of Alexander Grant.
The 19-year-old Boston College student was visiting friends at Skidmore College last March when he disappeared after a night of partying. His body was later found submerged in Putnam Creek.
An autopsy found that Grant died from drowning, with hypothermia as a contributing factor.
Anyone with information regarding Grant's activities the night he died is asked to call the Saratoga Springs Police Department's Investigation Unit at (518)-584-1800. Anonymous tips can also go to the tips line at (518) 584-TIPS or at www.saratogapolice.org.
