CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. -- New housing market numbers for the Capital Region are out and realtors say the market is showing signs of balancing.
Numbers comparing last month to April were released Tuesday morning. Sixteen percent more homes were sold last month. That's more than 800 total homes sold.
The median price of homes sold is nearly $200,000.
GCAR agents say there has never been a better time to buy. They say prices are starting to appreciate locally and interest rates cannot get any lower.
