ALBANY, N.Y. -- An early morning fire displaces eight people in Albany Sunday morning.

Fire officials tell us they responded to an early morning fire at 13 Delaware Street. Upon arrival, they heard detectors going off and saw smoke coming from the front door.

The Red Cross tells us they assisted the five adults and three children, giving them food, clothing, and temporary lodging.

No word yet on the extent of the damage or if there were any injuries.
