HUDSON VALLEY, N.Y. -- Hudson Valley Community College holds their 58th commencement ceremony for the graduating class of 2012.
Hundreds of students donning their cap and gown prepare to take the next step in their future. The school's crop of graduates lined Joe Bruno Stadium to receive their diplomas and take part in a ceremony that culminates their years of hard work.
This year's speaker was Doctor Andrew Matonak, HVCC's president.
Dr. Andrew J. Matonak, said, “I see among you a passion for bringing about change yourselves."
Chad K. Coumbes, Student Senate President said, “So many here today who have persevered in pursuit of a college education."
Many students will be transitioning into the workforce where they will learn the importance of investing in their future, career goals, and most importantly paying those student loans.
