Hit and run suspect to be arraigned

ALBANY, N.Y. -- The man Albany Police arrested in connection with a Saturday morning hit and run is arraigned.

Kenneth Arrington faces multiple charges including DWAI, and fleeing a police officer while causing serious injury.

Police said they stopped Arrington after he ran a red light on Pearl Street. They said after stopping him, he sped away from officers, and hit two women, ages 23 and 24, as he was leaving the scene.

Both women were taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Shortly after, police said they found the vehicle on Clinton, and arrested Arrington.
