QUEENSBURY, N.Y. -- It's another sign that summer is just around the corner.

The Great Escape opens for its 58th season this weekend in Queensbury. Gates open Saturday at 10:00 am.

There are special ticket prices for Opening Weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, tickets will cost $20.12 for those who buy them online, or bring a canned food item to the park.

Splashwater Kingdom will be up and running next Saturday. There is a new Alpine Freefalls water attraction this year.
