ROTTERDAM, N.Y. -- Rotterdam police are looking for two people who robbed the Mobil gas station at 1210 Altamont Ave.

Officers said around 10:40 pm on Wednesday, two men walked into the gas station, forced the clerk into the bathroom, then blocked the door with a shelf.

They said the suspects then took off with cash, cigarettes and lottery tickets before getting away. Police said no weapons were displayed and no one was injured.

The two men are described as between the ages of 18 and 22. One is described as 5'9'' wearing jeans and a hoodie with a purple scarf covering his face. The other is decribed as six feet tall, a grey hoodie and a black scarf covering his face.
