Sexual assault sentencing for Saratoga County man

BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. -- A Saratoga County man is being sentenced Thursday to 17 years in prison. He pleaded guilty in late March to sexually abusing an 11-year old boy.
Sean Rice of Ballston Spa admitted to luring the boy into his home last August, and sexually assaulting him. The boy told his parents and police immediately afterwards. Rice was arrested in September.
In addition to prison time, Rice will also have 10 to 25 years of post release supervision and will be required to register as a sex offender.
