Schenectady police sergeant pleads guilty to DWI

ALBANY COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Schenectady police sergeant has pleaded guilty to DWI.

Sergeant William Fennell is on unpaid leave from the force after pleading guilty to driving while intoxicated in Bethlehem Town Court.

According to the Albany County District Attorney, Fennell will have his license revoked for six months. He will also be required to attend and participate in the victim impact panel and have an ignition interlock device installed in his car for the next year.
