Muir pleads not guilty to rape charges
BERKSHIRE COUNTY, Mass. -- A former school councilor has been arraigned on charges he sexually abused three girls at school.
Scott Muir, 36, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to rape and assault charges in Berkshire Superior Court. It's believed all of the alleged incidents took place between 2003 and 2005 at Stockbridge Plain School, where officials say Muir worked as a School Adjustment Councilor.
Muir was released on bail and ordered to have no contact with the alleged victims or any children under the age of 16.
