ALBANY, N.Y. -- Opponents of hydrofracking are planning a day of action today in Albany. Two groups are taking different approaches to getting their message out.

Frack-Free Nation is holding an Occupy-style event in Lafayette Park across from the state Capitol. New Yorkers Against Fracking will also rally this afternoon, but that's followed by a star-studded concert at the Empire State Plaza, with hosts Mark Ruffalo and Melissa Leo.

Musicians include Natalie Merchant, Joan Osborne, and Tracy Bonham, among others.
