A family-owned business is Saratoga Springs is having its grand re-opening Tuesday. Last minute preparations were underway at the popular spot, which up until now was only open in the summer. But as YNN's Beth Croughan tells us the owners hope keeping PJ's open year round will lead to new opportunities.

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- "It's kind of like starting all over," said PJ Davis, the President of BAR-B-QSA.
Davis isn't new to the barbecue business. In fact, his family has been cooking up the comfort food for more than 28 seasons, but their 29th year will be a bit different.
"We started construction, major construction, a renovation I should say, this past winter so that we can be open year-round," Davis explained.
They've enclosed the front and created a cafeteria-style service area and even added a few more permanent letters to the sign near the street.
"Bar-B-QSA, a taste tour of American barbecue. So when you come in here, you're going to get the regional favorite barbecue's that have been around for decades, different regions of our country, you're going to get them all right here, just the way they do them in those areas," he explained of the popular spot's new name.
As PJ's aims to take your taste-buds around the country, Davis hopes to do the same for Bar-B-QSA. The family is now licensed to franchise in New York State, meaning their menu could make its way outside of the Spa City.
"New York State right now, but like I said, who knows where we'll end up," he said.
But where they started is Saratoga Springs and while the restaurant has undergone some changes, Davis promises the food and service is still the same.
"BBQ used to be very popular in like little hole in the wall type places and now it's really come to the forefront in America. And we're just kind of capitalizing on that popularity, but it's just down home good eatin' and that's what we're looking forward to," he said.
PJ's opens Tuesday at 11 a.m.
