ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany Police arrested two men after they say they were caught with loaded handguns.

Police say Ravenal Dunbar, 16, ran from officers after they approached a large group on Central Avenue on Saturday night. Dunbar dropped the gun while running, but was eventually caught on Elk Street.

Police say Christopher Carter, 19, was also found with a handgun after officers saw another man smoking marijuana at a home on Lexington Avenue Sunday night. They found a pistol under the steps where Carter was standing.

Dunbar and Carter have both been charged with criminal possession of a weapon. They were arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court and are being held in Albany County Jail.
