ALBANY, N.Y. -- Fuller Road is back open today, ending a long detour for many motorists. The stretch from Railroad Avenue to Washington Avenue in Albany has been closed for the past 10 days to make improvements.

Not only does this re-establish the connection between Western Avenue and Central Avenue, but Exit 2 is back open on I-90 westbound.

This construction coordinates with several projects in the area. The first project was a county highway project north of this intersection on Fuller Road between Exit 2 and Central Avenue. It also works with construction at UAlbany's nanoscale school and planned improvements at the intersection of Fuller Road and Washington Avenue.
