NEWBURGH, N.Y. -- The Newburgh Habitat for Humanity dedicates its 55th home today.

According to those putting the finishing touches on the property, the family getting this home is the reason they do what they do.

Cathy Collins, Newburgh Habitat for Humanity Executive Director said, “The Jones family is a perfect example of why we do our work, because of the sub-standard conditions they were living in, their youngest daughter has to repeat second grade, not because of her educational capacity, but of the health issues that arose because of the living condition they live in, and that's the case for many of our families. "
