Four-year-old injured after being hit by car

SARATOGA, N.Y. -- A four-year-old boy was airlifted to Albany Med after getting hit by a car along Saratoga Lake on Friday afternoon.

The Saratoga Sheriff's Department says a car was traveling northbound on Route 9P when it struck the boy who was trying to cross the road.

Officials say the boy has serious but non life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the car was released at the scene.
