Man arrested on burglary charges
WASHINGTON COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Washington County man is behind bars after deputies say they found him with stolen property while he was out on bond for separate burglary charges.
The Washington County Sheriff's office say they arrested Gary Parker, 43, on Monday, after finding him with several items that were reported stolen from Chapman’s General Store in Middle Granville back in April.
Parker was arraigned in the Town of Granville Court and is currently being held without bail. He was out of jail on a bond for burglary and larceny charges in the Village of Whitehall and could now possibly additional charges and Grand Jury action.
