LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. -- Shannon Jones put together one of the best offensive seasons Siena has ever seen on the softball diamond.

Because of that the junior has been named the MAAC's co-player of the year. The Troy grad led the MAAC in batting average, home runs, RBI, hits, runs, total bases, and slugging percentage.

Siena won 20 games this season and went 8-8 in the MAAC for the second straight year.
