NEWBURGH, N.Y. -- Thursday was National Red Day, a day of volunteering for several real estate agents across the Hudson Valley.
Associates from Keller Williams Realty spent the day volunteering in Newburgh, at the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen for the third annual event.
Several others spent the day running a carnival for children who are part of the Latch Key Program and helped deliver food on the meal truck.
"This year, we chose to work with the Salvation Army in Newburgh because of the good work that they do and they needed help this year because their funding from the winter kettles and things has been reduced so they needed some help," said Red Day co-chair Cynthia Warner.
During Red Day last year, over 40,000 associates of Keller Williams volunteered.
