AMSTERDAM, N.Y. -- A crash in Amsterdam sends three people to the hospital.

State Police said a Buick driven by Muriel Kenitz, 73, was heading north on Route 30, failed to stop for a light and struck a pickup truck with a trailer at the intersection with Maple Avenue Ext.

Kenitz as well as the driver of the pickup truck and his passenger were taken to St. Mary's Hospital for neck pain.

Kenitz was ticketed for failing to stop at a stop light.
