Local filming of Ali movie leads to road closures
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- Filming in the Capital Region continues today for the HBO movie, "Muhammad Ali's Greatest Fight."
Scenes were shot in Albany on Thursday, and today, filming will take place in Schenectady.
The following streets will be closed from 4 p.m. Friday until the end of the shoot, which is expected to be around 2 a.m. Saturday:
- Front Street from Washington Avenue to North Ferry Street
- North Church Street from Union Street to Front Street
A traffic control point will be present at Union Street and Washington Avenue to allow local traffic only into the restricted area.
