SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- A little more than a month after their first-ever appearance in the Frozen Four, the Union men's hockey team is still being recognized for their record-setting season.
Senior Nolan Julseth-White and junior Jeremy Welsh were on hand as the Schenectady County Legislature announced a resolution honoring the team Tuesday night.
The team was honored for repeating as ECAC regular season champs and winning the program's first ever ECAC tournament championship this season.
The Legislature is just one of many organizations to recognize the Dutchmen this year, but the guys say the support never gets old.
