KINGSTON, N.Y. -- A Kingston man was arrested after police said he dug up his girlfriend's pet that had died weeks earlier and texted her pictures of it.

Kingston police said Raymond Williamson, 20, was involved in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend. They said he pushed her and scratched her while trying to grab her phone and then a short time later, stole $260 from her.

According to police, Williamson dug up the animal and sent her pictures of it the following day.

He was arrested and charged with grand larceny, aggravated harassment, and violation of harassment.
