Police: 19-year-old woman found with stolen handgun
ALBANY, N.Y. -- While breaking up a fight at Clinton and Ontario streets, Albany police arrested a 19-year-old woman who they said was found with a stolen handgun.
A patrol officer pulled up to the large fight just after midnight. While trying to break it up, a person told the officer that someone there had a gun. The investigation led police to Domonique Earle, who police said had a 9mm handgun in her purse. The gun had been reported stolen on March 2 in the Town of Rotterdam.
Earle was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. She was arraigned and sent to the Albany County Jail.
