The Marist baseball team hosted Lafayette for a doubleheader.

Bottom of the 1st, no score, Marist's Mike Orefice deposits this delivery over the right field fence for a 1-0 Red Fox lead.

Bottom of the 2nd, Lafayette's John Gentile strikes out Dan Zlotnick with a runner in scoring position.

Marist starter Chad Gallagher returns the favor in the top of the 3rd with this K of Brian Davila.

Top 3rd, Gallagher strikes out Bobby Fargnoli, but Fargnoli reaches first on a bad throw to 1st, and that allows Andrew Santomauro to score from 3rd, we're tied at 1-1.

But in the bottom of the 3rd, Marist answers big time with this 3-run bomb to deep right by Mike Orefice again, it scores Jake Berry and Zach Shank, and it's 4-1 Marist, they go on to win by the final of 7-1.

In game two, Marist finished the sweep winning game 2, 11-1. They finish off the 3 game series at Lafayette on Sunday.
