PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Members of the Putnam County Fire Investigation team are meeting with members of law enforcement next week to discuss what caused the house fire in Carmel.
Samples were taken from the home and sent to the New York State Police lab for evaluation.
Investigators say they spoke with Thomas Sullivan Jr. Wednesday for a few hours. They say he was able to give them additional information about what happened that night that will help them move forward with their investigation.
Investigators also say they plan to interview and re-interview neighbors and emergency personnel who responded to the fire to help figure out what caused this fire.
