BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. -- Capital Car Shows and Cole Collision Center partnered up to bring a mix of classic and modern day cars and bikes to the Saratoga fairgrounds.

The first annual Saratoga Nationals Car Show consists of cars from back in the 1970s as well as the newer, supped up cars.

Organizers say it's a great way for people to get out and enjoy the day and also meet other people with the same hobby.

"So we're talking about the car people from all walks of life, the classically restored cars, the new car or whether their looking to build, so it's three different levels of car enthusiasts," said Saratoga Nationals Promoter Bill Schroder.

Raffles were sold at the event to benefit the Make-A-Wish foundation. The event planners say they hope to continue the show in the coming years.
