Man arrested on attempted murder charges
ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany detectives have arrested a Rensselaer man who they say is responsible for a shooting in the City of Albany.
Detectives say last September, Hiquan Griffen shot at a car driving on Thorton Street. They say the driver’s side window of the victim's car was shattered and a bullet fragment also hit the driver.
An investigation identified Griffen as the suspect. He was arrested Monday and now faces several charges, including attempted murder.
Griffen was arraigned and sent to Albany County Jail.
