ULSTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Hundreds of kids came out and enjoyed the sun for the 16th annual "Kids Classic" in Kingston.

Organizers said nearly 500 kids ages two to teens turned out to run in 26 different races as part of the Kingston Classic weekend. The event also featured entertainment and activities for those who were not participating in the run.

And while there's only one race winner, organizers said no one goes home empty handed.

Nearly 1,000 runners are expected to participate in the classic's 10-K Race on Sunday.
