ULSTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Crews were called to a house fire in Ulster County. Officials say the fire started Wednesday around noon on Circle Avenue in the Town of Rosendale.
Officials say no one was home at the time and the call was placed by a neighbor.
Fire officials say it took roughly an hour to contain the house fire.
"Police arrived on the scene, reported smoke showing. Units arrived, they found an active fire on the outside of the building from the basement up to the second floor. It was quickly extinguished. That is about it. The investigation is ongoing," said Kevin Hines, Assistant Chief of the Bloomington Fire Department.
There were no reports of any injuries.
