ALBANY, N.Y. -- The show will still go on for award winning actor and musician Gary Sinise.

The Gary Sinise Foundation and The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation are collaborating on a program called "Building for America's Bravest Program" to build homes for severely wounded warriors.

The actor was recently in a car accident forcing the Lieutenant Dan Band to cancel a number of concerts. But the good news is, the band will be ready to take the stage for their April 28th concert at Albany's Washington Armory. The concert will benefit Air Force Tech Sergeant and Lansingburgh native Joseph Wilkinson, who is suffering from a degenerative nerve disease.

The Lieutenant Dan Band is named after the character Lieutenant Dan Taylor, Gary Sinise's character from "Forrest Gump."
