ULSTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Police said a massive fire in Ulster County, may have been set by someone burning brush.

The Ulster County Sheriff's office said this brush fire which broke out around four Saturday, may have been set on purpose. It then spread to several nearby buildings, including the Tamarack Lodge.

Officials said eventually, 30 structures on the Tamarack Lodge property were on fire. Soon hundreds of firefighters arrived on the scene.

Six of those structures were occupied, and had to be evacuated. And firefighters said the fire could smolder until at least Monday.
