Top 1st, Marist starter Chad Gallagher strikes out Brian Shroeder to keep St. Pete off the board.

Bottom 2nd, Marist with runners on, here Jake Berry's bloop single to RF scores Nick McQuail, it's 1-0 Marist.

Bottom 3rd, Zach Shank tees off and belts one deep over the LF fence to make it 2-0 Red Foxes.

Later in the inning Ben Luderer singles to LF to plate Eric Helmrich, it's 3-0.

Later Nick McQuail scores on the fielder's choice hit by Mark Brennan, and when the throw to first goes awry, it also scores Ben Luderer, Marist up 5-0 at this point.

They hang on to win game 1 of the DH 6-4. In game 2 Marist completed the sweep with a walk off single by Eric Helmrich in the 4-3 win.
