ALBANY, N.Y. -- One of the most popular spring and summer attractions in Albany has opened for the year.

The Albany Aquaducks hosted their first tour of the season on Saturday. It's the ninth year in operation for the tours, which take people on a historic tour of the city, then plunge into the Hudson for a look at Albany from the river. The first tour of 2012 left Saturday afternoon from Quackenbush Square.

Shirley Arensberg, Albany resident said, “It's just great, it's so different, it’s fun to go up the stairs, it’s fun to sit on the seats, it’s fun to go through the city and quack and people with quackers. And it's fun to go and splash into the water.”

On Sunday, the 2 p.m. tour will feature a special guest, the Easter Bunny.
