ALBANY, N.Y. – In Albany, several churches and the District Attorney's office are co-hosting two events, hiding a total of 90,000 eggs. Volunteers have been hard at work trying to stuff some of those last-minute eggs which are filled with candy, money and a lucky four have stubs to redeem brand new bikes.
One of the organizers, Pastor Charlie Muller from the Victory Christian Church, said this is the biggest of the last five egg hunts they've hosted. It's part of the Enough Initiative, which aims to offer fun and local events for kids, while also teaching them important lessons.
"The Enough Initiative is a really a partnership between the DA's office and the community and we've been able to come together to send a strong message of anti-gun violence and anti-bullying,” said Pastor Charlie Muller.
If you're interested in attending, the first hunt will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bleecker Stadium. The second will be at Lincoln Park at 3 p.m.
