Albany Law School welcomes first female president
ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany Law School welcomes its first female president in the school's history.
Albany Law announced on Thursday that Penelope Andrews will become the school's 17th president and dean.
Andrews is currently the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and professor of law at the CUNY School of Law.
Throughout her career, she's taught law in Canada, South Africa and several European countries.
Andrew will start her new position at Albany Law on July 1st.
