SARATOGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Mechanicville police have arrested two people in connection with what police are calling a rash of crime in the city.

Police say Dylan LaRose, 20, and Michael Ryan, 19, stole vehicles and damaged property early Wednesday morning. Police say they found out about the crime spree after getting a call about a stolen truck.

Both were arrested and charged with grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and evidence tampering.

LaRose and Ryan were arraigned and taken to Saratoga County Jail.
