State parks receive funding

CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. -- Governor Andrew Cuomo has announced an almost $7 million investment to upgrade and repair five parks in the Capital Region.
It’s all part of the New York Works projects, an initiative that provides jobs to rebuild the state's infrastructure.
Peebles Island State Park will get the most funding, with $3 million going towards the historic Bleachery building.
Grafton Lakes, Saratoga Spa, Thacher and Moreau Lake State Parks will also receive funding to improve park facilities.
