SARATOGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- When it comes to overall health, Saratoga County is one of the healthiest counties in the state. Saratoga County is ranked third out of the 62 counties in New York State.

Schoharie also ranked well, coming in at number 13. Albany ranked 26th, and Schenectady ranked 30th.

The four categories which the counties are judged and evaluated on are access to healthcare, birth measures, morbidity, and mortality measures.

Fulton and Greene counties were both ranked in the fifties.
