Army softball hosted Holy Cross in a doubleheader to open Patriot League play, Black Knights won game 1, 8-0.

Game 2 was all pitching. Morgan Lashley picks up the strikeout here 1 of 8 for her in throwing a complete game shutout.

In the 5th, Army started to get the bats going. Alexis AuBuchon drills one to deep center it hits off the wall and she pulls in to 2nd with a leadoff double.

Black Knights would load the bases. Amanda Nguyen hits a blooper over 3rd base that'll score Alexis AuBuchon and that's the only run of the game as Army sweeps the doubleheader with the 1-0 win.
