High school lacrosse season is up and running we had a few games around the Hudson Valley we'll start things off in Rondout Valley.

Rondout Valley in it's first season with a varsity lacrosse program hosted Wallkill in a Division 3 matchup

First quarter, Wallkill's Matt Whalen twists and turns and weaves his way into scoring position and then nets the goal, it's 1-0 Wallkill.

A short time later RV's John Nodes takes the pass and scores to tie things up for the Ganders at 1-1.

Wallkill's Nick Curci takes the feed and finds the net for the 2-1 Panther lead.

But RV answers start of 2nd quarter, here Steven Swift scores off the assist from John Nodes to tie it at 2-2.

Wallkill's Kenny Atkins scores unassisted to give the Panthers the 3-2 lead.

And then Nick Ritosa goes the same route from the same angle to give the Panthers the 4-2 first half lead. Wallkill goes up 7-2, but RV has a big 2nd half and pulls out a win by the final of 12-9.
