Teen arrested for stabbing
ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany detectives arrested a 13-year-old in connection with a stabbing. Authorities said it happened Wednesday, when two cousins were riding their bikes on Livingston Avenue. They said one of the teens was jumped by another teen, and then several other kids got involved.
During the fight, the 14-year-old was stabbed four times in his back and the other teen suffered fractured bones in his right hand. The stabbing victim's injuries are not life-threatening.
The suspect's name is not being released because of his age. He is charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. He will be arraigned in Albany County Family Court.
