ALBANY, N.Y. -- Incumbent Albany County District Attorney David Soares has the Democratic Party's support for re-election.
Challenger Lee Kindlon withdrew from seeking a formal Democratic Party endorsement in the race. The Albany defense attorney says he'll still fight for the primary.
Soares has held the position since 2004 when he defeated incumbent Paul Clyne.
