UNITED STATES -- A local historical mystery will be the focus of a national TV show Thursday night. The skeleton of an American Indian found at Fort William Henry will be featured on the National Geographic Channel.
The remains were found at the Colonial British military site in the mid-1990s. Experts on the series "The Decrypters" have answered some questions about the skeleton. But they're still wondering how an American Indian from the western US ended up in the Adirondacks?
Each episode of "The Decrypters'' focuses on cold cases from 18th- and 19th-century America, using modern forensics.
It airs Thursday at 8 p.m. on the National Geographic Channel.
