ALBANY, N.Y. -- It should really be no surprise given the way he played at the end of the season that UAlbany's Jacob Iati has decided to return to the team.

Iati has one year of eligibility left, but had decided to go to grad school and be a graduate assistant next season.

But then Logan Aronhalt got hurt and Iati worked his way into the starting lineup at the end of season and he made the most of his opportunity. In his last six games, he scored more than 20 points three times and averaged better than 14 points a contest after averaging just two points in his career up to that point.

Will Brown has known the Iati family for years now and it was his decision to go to Jacob with the thought of returning.
