ALBANY, N.Y. -- If you are traveling on I-90 near Albany, you will notice some new emergency detour signs. According to the Department of Transportation, the signs will appear along the Exit 23-24 corridor.

The DOT said the detour signs are permanent and will be available for any emergencies in the future. Detour routes will be identified by letter designations to keep drivers from getting confused.
